The IDS department is one of the four departments in charge of teaching and research within Télécom ParisTech. The acronym IDS stands for Image, Data, Signal. The research activity of the department is done in the lab “Laboratoire Traitement et Communication de l’Information” (LTCI).

The missions of IDS are teaching and research in the domain of signal, image and data processing. Its objectives are:

  • Signal and images analysis and processing (audio, video, multimedia, satellite images, biomedical images, ..)
  • Analysis and development of statistical processing methods and algorithms for machine learning, optimisation and data analytics. The department is organised in 3 research groups, a devolpment group and transversal research topics
